Dear Carolyn, Words cannot express our sorrow for Ernie’s passing and your loss. He loved you and was so appreciative of the care and encouragement you gave him through his illness. He was very proud of being your husband. Bonnie and I know that you know Ernie is with the Lord and enjoying his eternal reward. All of us here in New Hampshire miss him but are looking forward to the day we will all be together in heaven. He helped many of us stay on track or even get on the right path in our faith walk, our earthly responsibilities and vocations. He was an icon and mentor to me. I will keep him in my heart and I know he’ll show up in my thoughts whenever I struggle to do what God wants done. I thank God for his witness, friendship, intellect and wit. We pray for peace and comfort for you, Jennifer, Chrissie, Carrie, Sarah and her husband, granddaughter Carrie and Ernie’s mom.
