Dear Carolyn, To many Alpha Phi's at Penn State, Ernie Gale was our ideal, caring big brother. He was always willing to help - giving sound advice or going to bat for us when needed. He touched the lives of his Navy ROTC friend, as well. And Joe, among many, proudly followed his stellar Naval career.
